I'm looking for a copy of this:
http://folkcatalogue.files.wordpress...heredcoats.jpg
Various artists - 'Songs and Music of The Redcoats', 1972, Decca Argo ZPA 147.
Now out of print, but a copy could turn up in your local charity shop or at a boot sale.
Please could you keep an eye out for this, for me?
Many Thanks
If any one comes across a vinyl copy of this could you please let me know.
I'm still desperately looking for a copy of Regina Spektor's debut '11 11'
if anyone sees a copy anywhere let me know.... I have never seen one for sale, not even for silly money
If you guys are interested i'll soon be able to rip from vinyl to my Traxdata CD recorder (read Philips). I have virtually every Propaganda release out there including a lot of different 12" & 7" versions of the same tracks. seeing as i'll want to actually transfer stuff to CD myself to preserve the records i'd only be too happy to sort you guys out for the cost of postage & discs. Once i have my own copies it'll be a PC job at 4x speed maximum with fast discs.
Let me know if you are interested, though i won't be able to do this until i have built my phono stage & installed the Audio Research MP1. For some unknown reason when i have the Traxdata connected to the tape outs on my Classe DR5 it smears the CD playback  So it's not connected any longer...
I never did check this out, and now I can't find my SACD copy
Thanks for the offer of the copies Mark - definitely interested, cheers!
No worries on the offer Alex. Only too pleased to help & frankly i can't wait to hear them all again. I doubt if each record has been played more than 3 or 4 times & each was purchased new back in the day ;)
I think i'll have to find an SACD version of something, i appear to have a few DVD Audio discs but no SACDs  I have the equipment to play them to...
The only good thing about haveing a very odd taste in music is it's cheap when I can find it.
I am looking for an album that I am sure was called Survival, and was made by Simon & Garfunkel. The cover depicted a few people dressed in leotard and hurdled together in a cave or something.
I had this album in the early 70's and it was bought in the West Indies. Unfortunately I am not sure if my recollection of the artists is correct. I have not been able to find any mention of it on the net.
The confusing thing is that there have been various albums called Survival from different artists, which has made my search even more difficult.
Anyone who can help me out?
