I did actually mean see the photos on your image hosting site, if you had any saved there. But glad to see you're sorted now. :)

ah sorry, yes the site has changed so i just need to update each link.
You guys will keep using third party web storage.
You are always going to run into difficulty when they reorganize their storage folders, or go bust, or change their URL and you loose the link/s to your picture/s.
Get your own URL and create your own website, for a blog if you want, have unique email addresses attached to your URL that you can move with you if you change hosting companies, as they can be accessed through any linked hosting server. Same with your pictures, if you change hosting companies your links to pictures will remain intact.
What does it cost? I pay £3.59/Month including VAT (SmartHosting).
It gives you control of your (unlimited) storage and a bag full of other features, its well worth the money. ;)
ive got several copies of my pics and music. lost some many years ago and not happening again;)
It's not so much about loosing the photographs Grant, I have my website backed up and all my pictures on another device for extra peace of mind.
It's about loosing the definitive path to your picture, when storing it on one of the sites like Photobucket. If anything changes in this path, the picture will not appear on AoS and unless editing privileges are altered, you can not change the original posting to point at its new location. I have many illustrated postings on many sites, covering a variety of topics (couple of thousand), it would be very time consuming to alter the paths for all these pictures, so I keep complete control by hosting them on my own site and trust no one else with the task. :)
