Enjoy it and just laugh! :D
I wonder if they'd laugh too, if they were made to watch footage of themselves afterwards?

I used to get sick of (or was it sick at) Work's Dos when I was working. Quite often there was the Work's Work's Do which was mandatory to attend if you wanted promotion, then the Office Do which was mandatory if you didn't want to be labelled a weirdo, anti-social, tightwad, then the Team Do which usually ended in a punch-up, or a divorce depending on your behaviour under the influence, and a malfunctioning photocopier.
I remember work Christmas 'dos' ending in punch-ups a couple of times. Always 'the usual suspects'. You could guess who'd kick off in advance. Morons!
Tim, your thoughts are about the xmas commercialisation are fine , wtf indeed.
I never went to xmas do's. Absolutely no interest to me. Left that to the "in crowd" .. I'm going to try and have a good xmas this year with decorations etc. why the hell not eh:)
Oh yes the work do...sat around a table with exactly the same power politics as in the office. Trying to make small talk with partners involved. We have in effect brought our partner along to experience the power politics as they all weigh you up. A night out when you cant actually relax...a night out at work......like doing overtime :)
The person bitching all year long trying to lose me my job. is making small talk with my partner. I can hear the veiled digs going in and heck knows what is being said by the end.. Horrendous and a form of torture. If you dont go you are antisocial and will never hear the last of it.
Its no wonder people reach for the alcohol which leads to all sorts of problems and job threatening situations. You cant win unless you are immune to the outcome.
It is a very good reason to hate Christmas :)
