The "Fillmore" is mint! A clean and it's perfect. Well pleased. Steve Miller is in fantastic fettle too. Heavy Cream, Cream is very good too. Bread is dead. Not tried the rest yet.

Went to a car boot Friday evening and saw a Sherwood receiver plonked on the grass by the back of a car. Nice external condition but the old nose told me that it had a bonfire in there recently. "Eighty quid mate, works lovely" says the fat bloke behind the wallpaper table. "What as? A door stop? Axle stand?" says I.
I often see sleek-looking '80s period B&O gear at a couple of boot sales around here. But don't get too excited - they're obvious house clearance items, and were once well looked after by their owner, but not anymore: they now sport numerous scuffs, dings and have bits of the wood veneer missing.
Last year I was asked to "keep an eye on" some house clearance blokes as they did their thing, to make sure they didn't make off with copper or lead or something, truth is I didn't know why I'd been sent there. I managed to rescue an old vinyl records case from their clutches, which contained the first five Beatles albums, all original pressings, mono, all near mint vinyl and near mint covers. Result!
Then I found out why I was there. The toilet didn't work and the old lady had been using the bath instead. And no one else could face cleaning it. The smell coated my nostrils and stayed with me all day. So I think I earned those records.
That would explain your penchant for toilet humour. :D

Further to the records listed above, I came across a 'house clearer' who amongst the usual stuff had three Studiospares 19" rack mounting 16-way XLR 'jack fields' using Neurik connectors. I wasn't so much interested in the chassis mounting connectors, as in the flying leads consisting of either Mogami or Klotz balanced cable terminated with Neutrik XLR plugs.
Clearly the seller didn't know what they were, so bundled in some more cable and stereo 1/4" jack plugs plus some extra XLR connectors. All for £5.
Nice finds Barry :)
