Too expensive, worth at most £40 if in mint condition with manual and boxes. There are a zillion vintage speakers of this ilk for sale, don't pay over the odds.

theres a pair of wharfedale 9.1's in private exhibitions ,:cool:80 pound
Rega Kytes may well work.
I have a pair in my loft which I might be persuaded to
part with...
Thanks for all your sugestions I think I will keep a look out for a pair of Pageant 2,s.
In the meantime in conversation at work by pure chance a colleague is getting rid of a pair of Mordeant Short Aviano 6 floor standing speakers in vgc (Mrs’s says they’re too big & needs to get shot of em😄) tbh maybe a bit big for me, only wants a few quid for them maybe £50-60. & says I can try them out.
Just like to ask what your opinions are on these seems like a bargain, but will they be compatible with my Nad 3130 amp & Duel 510 turntable or are these a complete overkill?
Any thoughts?
Cheers
For that price you might as well grab them and see how you get on. A decent starting point and a reference for future thought.
They'll work with the NAD amp. Just don't do any loud parties! :)
