But the opening sequence with the paris ring road and Maserati police chase is worth the blu ray price alone...

Star Wars Imax 3d tickets booked for Christmas eve for me & the mrs.
I've purposely stayed away from reading too much about it. I hope its worth the wait.

Well, I went to see the film last night with Del, and it was rather weird, but brilliant! :)
For those who enjoy a good fantasy adventure/love story, which is visually stunning, beautifully shot and well-acted, together with a superb depiction of 1960s America (especially some of the stunning cars around - a true golden era in many respects), mixed with a soupçon of Russian espionage, it comes HIGHLY recommended :cool:

I think it's a brilliant work of art Marco, Sally Hawkins' performance for me was mesmerising, but I'm a fan of both her and of Guillermo del Toro.
It's an Oscar worthy film all round, the film, cinematography, acting and directing. Loved the soundtrack too.
It's extremely erotic in parts too :eyebrows:
