I would agree with Arkless.... the McIntosh is probably better if you have deep pockets.

However, keep looking for a Dynalab FM..... you will never regret it.
+ £500 tuners are worth it..... if it's the right one...

I too have a Magnum Dynalab FT101, and of all the gear I own, it's the one piece I'll never part with. It makes FM sound like a high end source! And I only paid $300USD used, seems a lot of used ones around? And it works well, with the 3 precision tuning meters and switches for tweaking the signal, it is a pleasure to use.

Just in case you do ever get a Dynalab 101, I have a Dynalab system sleuth.... in mint condition in case you are in an area of hard too get fm signals... a marriage made in heaven... (not needed in this area).
