I had some of those Gary, very nice and comfortable.

Yeah James,
They are really comfortable, very light and the self adjusting headband 'just works'.
No faffing around with click positions for best fit or that stuff.
Sound wise,
Out the box I prefer them to my Beyer Amirons, which at half the price of the Beyers makes them great value.
Rich, very clear with good 'tone' and wide soundstage, and that's out the box.
A wee bit harsh sometimes at the very top end, but that should smooth out with some hours on them.
I wanted to be able to slap on a set of good sounding headphones to watch movies and listen to CDs at night, and these things tick that box 100%.
Build quality is solid, feels a premium product.
Everything is bolted together, feels right.
Good looking things too,
Really like the real walnut cups, with the gold accents.
The AKG style headband design works well.
Will find a spot on my main wall for these I think, too nice to be tucked away out of sight. :D

Beautiful and stylish looking cans there Gary. You ought to find a dummy head to store and display them.
Those look nice mate. Have a set of XM3's, great cans for the money. Had a set of Dan Clark Ether's, and while they were better than the Sony, there wasn't a lot in it, which makes the Sonys great value imo, at around a tenth of the price. Sonys had more bass which was what I was looking for, tweakable with the app too.
LOL
Thanks all.
Seen it done elsewhere with the dummy head, a glass skull as well.
Looks cool, but not for me I think!
Found a spot, like them up there on the wall.

And no creepy standing in the corner :D
With the shadow cast by the right hand speaker, your new headphones look a bit like the ghost of an alien. ;)
