Hi. This is quite an interesting thread.
With all those positive reviews I may try it and so for myself. Obviously at that price point I would change fuses on at the time, so where it would be the more beneficial? Going from the source down to amplification starting from phono stage to preamp followed by amp?

Greg,
Long time too long no see fella....
All good,
Nick G's seen me right till my headstone hifi wise...his 300B power amp (with Andrew L's DHT heater supply) is as good as I'll ever need.
Bizaare thing is, you playing 'Spanish Harlem' at Owsten that time through Toppsy's Eddingdales set me on the valve not solid state path....
Glad you've embraced streaming...convenience is King (as long as sound quality isn't compromised....and its not!)
...still loving Brownies :)
I am dragging this back up as I have a question.
Out of a choice of upgraded mains leads and internal equipment fuses (bearing in mind I don't have plug fuses) which would give the greater benefit?
I'm an SR Black fuse enthusiast - I've got 2 now! :)
But I haven't tried them as internal fuses, and I haven't tried them in a standard kettle lead.
Tbh - I doubt if anyone has done both, which is what is required to respond to your question.
I am sure, based on my own experiences, that both approaches will reap worthwhile rewards.
Which would you do first?
The fuse is easier and less ambiguous as to choice (there are LOTS of audiophile mains cables out there!).
I would try a fuse, I think. They are on sale or return.
If it doesn't impress, you can always try again later once you have upped the mains cables to your satisfaction.
Thanks.
If I do a mains cable, I guess the first one is the one feeding my mains regenerator?
