That is kind of worrying as I bought it on vinyl must be a year ago and it is currently still sealed. I guess i'll find out when I eventually get around to playing it.

Shaun, Great shout!! Hank Mobley's 'Soul Station' is just a bloody fantastic record.
Hank Mobley – tenor, Wynton Kelly – piano, Paul Chambers – bass, Art Blakey – drums... all on their A game, great playing and wonderful tunes.
A heads up for the ultimate SQ reissue of this title is the Music Matters 45rpm cut, a work of art, reproduced with passion and love..of course at a price (£50) but it's a classic record that warrants it IMHO,
arguably better sounding and certainly cheaper than an original Blue Note W63rd copy, which in good nick will set you back a cool £2,000 !

Adam, loving your quote "Lack of passion is fatal". Personally I think without passion there is no point.
Also, another of my absolute faves, Lee Morgan 'Sidewinder', again, on vinyl reissue.
Shaun, the "lack of passion is fatal" quote applies to all things Matey, I constantly have to remind colleagues in the work place of that quote, as they mutter "nearly Friday" on Monday morning!!
Lee Morgan's 'Sidewinder' is a cracking date, Tenor giant, Joe Henderson is on fire! Coincidentally check the link on this post...enjoy!
