Download the Microsoft scanner. It should get to root of them. They have sections hidden that just repopulatehttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...09c7671c6a.jpg

Clearly there are many utilities which do great jobs. I use Avast which gives real time protection against many types of nasties, including viruses, malware and so forth. This together with ccleaner, adwcleaner and privacy repairer seems to keep my system clean and sparkling.
Which reminds me I need to clean my windows soon. Just waiting for a dry day. :)
Actually, although I like doing the 'maintenence tasks', most computers will keep running just fine if they're never done! :)
There is no fun in continually being troubled by software.
A better outlook is to change to software like shown here: https://distrowatch.com
A easy choice is Linux Mint. https://www.linuxmint.com/
What's latest mint like

That laptop I buggered.. Lol
I've got it working to a point.. Not sure yet how well but...
I took an image of the hdd on another pc and along with a easeus backup emergency disc.
Managed to boot to easeus via a dvd rom then used the image backup on a flash drive. Ease us obviously did some clever stuff to get it to boothttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...fd8e1d6fc4.jpg
I'll be interested in your progress sorting it.
