Haha - I bet the female staff were particularly amused!
VAGina, you say? How about some wild beaver......

More half-baked proposals from the government. https://www.theguardian.com/environm...cars-from-2040
Does Michael Gove have a crystal ball? He can't possibly predict whether the auto industry wiil be able to develop and provide all electric cars that do the job properly.
This just confuses things and is potentially damaging to industry.
how are they going to charge all these cars... cables out on the street etc? and where is all the lekky coming from.. we struggle to produce enough as it is and t is mostly ade from fossil fuels anyway.
Yup. And at the moment charging rates are far too slow anyway and with the technology available at present you can't really speed things up without risking cars turning into bombs! Lithium is not the most stable of materials.
Not too sure I'd be happy buying a car that has a battery life of maybe five years and possible £5000 replacement cost.
How about a car with bodywork made of solar panels?
I suppose someone has done the sums and found it to be unworkable.
Might have guessed Honda would be on it. We've had our Civic for six years and electrics have worked faultlessly.
I would insist on have the parking sensors option though.
Give it a generation or so and petrol and diesel piston engined cars will be regarded in the same way as old piston engined biplanes are as compared to modern jet aircraft.
The range and charging time issues with electric cars will be overcome and ultra smooth, near silent and powerful motors with linear delivery will become the norm, no awkward power peaks or any need for gear changing. Vehicle servicing will become much less frequently needed, which is an attractive thought.
Unfortunately, autonomous, self driving vehicles will probably become the norm, so any prospect of fun on the road will end!!
And don't think you can save an old 'classic' car to bomb around in for enjoyment. By then, there won't be anywhere to buy fuel for it. So tough luck!
