Some of you may have noticed that we now have the ability to embed YouTube videos, which makes for more appealing posts than simple links to the YouTube page.
There are two ways you can do this. Both require that you get the YouTube video code (the last bit of the YouTube URL)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xE5f8OF3I0
You can either copy this into your post, highlight it and click the http://i560.photobucket.com/albums/s...ns/youtube.gif button on the 'Advanced' message window, or alternatively, you can put the tags round it manually, like this:
HTML Code:
[YT]4xE5f8OF3I0[/YT]
Most YouTube videos can be embedded - those that can't will tell you as much so 'preview' your post to check it works as you expect.
Happy video posting!

Hi Nick,
Thanks to your post I have been able to watch/hear Floyd's 'Moonhead', nearly forty years after I first heard it. Have also been watching other YouTube clips of unreleased Floyd. Talk about '.......lazing on a sunny afternoon'!
Are some of those pieces going to be put on a certain CD? :eyebrows:
Thanks again
Regards

That version of Moonhead / Corrosion was from French TV in Jan 1970. An extraordinary piece of telly. It's different - more experimental - than the version broadcast during the Omnibus Moonlanding doc in July 1969. To be honest that 'Corrosion In The Pink Room' piece of video is probably the single most important piece of Floyd video turned up in the last 5 years... the bit where Nick's messing round with the prepared piano is priceless... thank heaven for the adventurous French TV shows, and their progressive archive policies!

Use the film reel icon to the right of the image (IMG) insertion icon - the YouTube button doesn't work anymore for some reason.
Use the same 'share link' button in YouTube you normally would for the address (like this https://youtu.be/tMYs07XiPOU), copy and paste that into the field provided from the Film Reel icon and Bob's yer uncle ;)
