    Sorry if this is a dupe, trying to get my head around how the PM thing works. I think I've already sent this but probably to myself...!!!

    No problem. A mate of mine can't believe I have a volume control in a separate box, 'cos that's all it is. It's a good improvement though a bit pricey. The best vfm change I've done in terms of the volume pot was changing the alps blue to a DACT stepped attenuator.

    I added a couple of photo's of the inside of the valve PP. The one without much inside the box is just a passive transformer volume control.

Cables: best I can afford and likely to change except Homar's RF attenuated co-ax's and Mark Grant USB and HDMI cables. I also like silver i/cs and speaker cable.
