    /Part 3.

I'm at the 'visualising' phase of the design and have previously been dreaming of the Tortuga LDRx Passive Preamp. I'm hoping that your kit will be in a similar vein, albeit at a much better price and would be grateful if you could send me some links or photos. My understanding is that the boards come ready populated but I would need to wire them and build them into a suitable enclosure. Is that right (if so, ideal)?

What options are available for component choice and what recommendations for wiring - material and layout? Please also send me the instructions, as offered. I'm hoping that a little hand holding will be allowed after purchase!

    Warm regards
    Steve

    /Part 2.

As I said, I need 6 stereo inputs. I will also require up to 10 outputs running at the same time! I'm a speaker designer and the electronics is not my main area of expertise but this system is my 'Opus Magnus'. I know that I have a unique concept and will be happy to give more details if you'd like. I assume that your passive pre can cater for 1 or 2 outputs and then I will need to add an active buffer stage. Is that right?

    Warm regards

    Dear Chris

I think I've finally figured out how to send a message on this forum but I don't know whether this will get through to you. Please send me an email to confirm receipt. My email address is stevie7v@googlemail.com

I attempted to copy our previous (eBay) correspondence below for reference but the forum doesn't allow such a large message. I hope the previous correspondence is available to you. This is being sent in two or three parts.

    So, re the remote:

    1. This looks like an inexpensive solution. Is it reliable? Can I assume that this Alps potentiometer does not effect the 'signal part' of the circuit?
    2. Is it difficult to have remote switching of the inputs or just the volume? Clearly, remote control of volume is more important.

    Warm regards
    Steve
