Hi If your arm already has to go so high, you may have a problem with my collar in that the lower part (ie below the arm board) is 5mm longer than the original, so this can mean problems with the arm cable plug, if a right-angle (90 degrees) plug is used, when the plug body contacts the bottom of the collar. I have customers who use the 750 arm with Garrard 401 turntables, so maybe this is not a problem, but I have to mention it. Look underneath your armboard - if you have more than 5mm clearance between the arm cable plug and the bottom of the Jelco collar, you should be OK with my modified collar.
