Just letting you know, that Dom has said if you having anything that you want him to look at, bring it along. If he can do it there and then he will.

    Cheers Natalie

    Hi Marco,

Sorry, I completely forgot about this one, sorry too for the confusion.

Please don't worry though as I intend to keep adding to the thread as I progress.

    Thanks,
    Ant
  4. Hi Anthony,

Sorry for the delay in answering your last message - got caught up elsewhere!

Not sure what you mean, mate, as the post you've linked to below appears to be already on the thread in question....

Could you try again to explain what you mean, and I'll do my best to help?

    Marco.

Thanks Marco, shame though as it would have been nice to update the original 'build' post' as I completed new mods - Never mind though.

    Anyhow, here's the thread: http://theartofsound.net/forum/showt...378#post259378

And I'd like this post: http://theartofsound.net/forum/showp...57&postcount=7 adding in before the line of text "And here's the complete (for now) product:" which is just before the 4 large images at the end... If that makes any sense?

    Thank you,
    Ant
  6. Hi Anthony,

First of all, could you provide me a link to the thread that you're referring to, so I can access it quickly?

Then let me know what it is you want to edit and where, and I'll pop it in for you. All members have 24 hours to edit their threads/posts, after which they lose that ability, and this cannot be altered.

    ATB,
    Marco.

    Hi Marco,

May I ask permission to have 'edit' rights to post #1 of "Ants Beresford TC-7520 mods & guide" to keep the guide organised and up to date for the benefit of potential viewers?

    Thank you,
    Ant
  8. Hi Dave,

No worries. Should you wish to replace the remaining ECC83s in your amp, with the same types, let me know, and I'll search through my various contacts. Usually, I can obtain pretty much anything!

    My email address is: framed6images@aol.com

    All the best,
    Marco.

Thanks Marco. You are a gent. I have another message from Owen at Cob about forthcoming concerts. If you wish to see it let me have your e-mail address so I can forward it to you.
    regards

  10. Hi Dave,

Glad you like them. They're an early Christmas pressie from me, so enjoy!

They are NOS Marconi/Philips Miniwatt chrome plate ECC83, from the 60s, and very nice tubes indeed. You can still find them on eBay, but trust me, unless they develop a fault, you won't need to replace them for YEARS, so in terms of emission levels, you've got nothing to worry about.

They were made when valves were properly built!

    Have fun.

    All the best,
    Marco.
