The old feet were M6 x10 hex-head bolts fitted with plastic caps, screwed into the threaded inserts in the bottom of the plinth. I’ve had a quick...

As with most turntables of the era, the TD160 has a plinth that is effectively an empty box which forms a resonant chamber. Because of this the...

If you like the Lintons then how about Denton 85s, or the new Aura 1s, which PJC seems to be particularly pleased with?

Hi Shane, have seen so many of your posts over the years. I have two TT2s. One second generation with the external TPS(non-functioning) and one with the internal TPS (Also needing repair) Holding myself back from buying a third. Luckily, was able to get an alternative TPS board, but it is only single speed so I have to swap the pulley back and forth! Dedication I guess! The sound of these decks are spectacular. I've been running RB300 arms on both with a variety of cartridges. Most recently switching over to the more budget friendly Benz Micro high output MC cartridges. I just really wanted to say thank you for creating such a wonderful turntable.

Currently being used in a copy of this, in place of the 832a. Gives about 10w and sounds very nice: http://www.audiohobbyist.com/projects/832.htm

    Steve
