Chris. I've got an Avondale APX4. I don't know if it's just me, but I'm convinced that it 'hums' far louder than it used to. It's not like a fridge or fluorescent light, but it does make a noticable hum. Note that the noise is not through my speakers - it's purely from the APX4 unit itself. I've got it next to a Krell KAV250 power amp which makes no noise whatsoever - though as I say, it could be me going mad. Does yours make any noise? Anything at all? Regards. Greg
