Hi Roy Mine has a generic remote so there is a good chance it was your player. It has Mullard tubes. It sounds really good once warmed up only issue I have with it is that it can skip now and again. Luckily it uses a generic Phillips transport that cab be bought off eBay. I will try cleaning the heads first. The inside is heavily modified with paper in oil capacitors and changes to the pub. Did you find a better sounding CD player, I really like the valve sound as all my Amos are valve powered. Played the Beatles Remastered Abbey Road cd last night and the base response was outstanding and now challenges my gyro turntable.
Hi Roy I can see that you owned a Lector 0.5t cd which had been modified. I bought one a few months off eBay and was wondering if it was your old player and if you had any more information on the unit. Thanks Mike
