I've digging around trying to find some pics of our holiday in Kerry back in 2003 and 2004 .

So starting with this one ' i was trying to catch that wonderful evening light .

Ring of Kerry

And here is my dear wife ' behind her is the famous Lady's view overlooking Killarney .

Hi Steve

I was in Westport back in about 95 ' lovely town and Mat Malloy's bar

Donegal is quite beautiful i remember vividly seeing Errigal mountain ! only two and half thousand feet but it looks so much more impressive .

I think kerry is still my favorite county but clare and cork are lovely too , the Burren is a fascinating place ! and i recommend a visit to Baltimore in west cork , a beautiful place.

Lough Ine just behind Baltimore last summer. I rented a cottage (turned out to be a mansion) just around the corner for a week......good times.

Great photo Steve ' thanks:)

Another thing i love about Ireland is the great pub culture ; music and Craic .

its a shame the economy is so fecked at the moment , why did they join the euro

The think I love about Ireland.... more so the south than up here in the north is that they are mental with a capital z! Listen to Radio Ulster in the morning and you get jumped up broadcasters goading the politicians and general public into bitter negativity.

Listen to RTE2 which is broadcast from probably the back of a bus somewhere in a bog in the south and they are giggling like loons, giving away money/holiday breaks and generally having a laugh.

So the economy is fecked.......time for a rethink.....less politics and allowing the fat to get fatter......more community based share and share alike is needed.

yeah i love the people in the south , they have this attitude where no matter how bad things are , their's always time for pint and maybe a song or two ' oh and put the world to right's :)

Some superb pictures there Chris ;) Must have been quite something to actually be there & see those landscapes, i'd have been just looking for hours if i'd have been in your shoes :)

That lamb needs some kind of caption if the truth be known :eyebrows: "Oh what the heck have i stepped in this time"...

Great photos Chris, paints the country in a great light . Pity it's minus 15C and we're bankrupt. Still , the guy in the last photo shows how to handle it.

Wexford town , you sometimes come across these pub/undertaker's and in one the owner/landlord came in straight from a funeral ! wearing black tie and started serving customer's and telling them who he buried today .
