In the process of building a crossover with 5 different caps on the tweeter which can be changed by a turn on a rotary switch, one nearly done. Finished the boxes yesterday. Will keep you posted.

Caps used
Mundorf Silver/Gold
Duelund VSF which I am going to use a V-Cap TFTF as bypass
Jupiter Bees Wax
Clarity Cap bypassed with a Audio Note Copper cap
IPL's home grown

Swans Ribbon LINK (http://www.swanspeaker.com/product/htm/view.asp?id=233) Just pumping up the crossover of an IPL Acoustics kit. Already made an external crossover with just the Mundorf Silver/Gold which worked very well. Done this really to try out the Duelund VSF, but thought I would through a few more caps in while I was at it.

Excellent! I'll be keeping an eye on this, I'm actually wanting to upgrade the caps in my speakers cross overs too so look forward to your finding:eyebrows:

Nearly their should get them hooked up latter on today to the speakers. Only draw back is I sent my power amp off last week for upgrading, so may not see it for another 4 weeks .

Very nice work indeed, what's the HF limit on the tweeters? From what I've heard over the last couple of years very extended high frequencies really make a huge difference to the life of a recording. It's why I ditched the electrostats, compared to decent dynamics and ribbons it was like listening through a duvet.
