There's just no denying! We all like to take a peek at everyone else's set-up!
So here's mine... not much to look at but a fair, clear, deep sound with some basic improvements still to do. Enjoy!

A general view. The sweet spot perspective...

...and exposing the goods.

The mighty old but like new Quad 303 (almost 30 years in the family)

Re-capped and re-PSUed with Net-Audio kit. Added a Russ Andrews PowerMax™ Plus mains cable which made a difference. The speaker cables are QED Silver Anniversary XT bi-wire with Atlas Z-Plugs and the interconnect is a custom made Flashbacksales Performance Premiere QUAD 4 Pin DIN to RCA (with a Maplin ferrite...just in case).

The sources

That's the good old Caiman on top, being fed CDs and DVDs from the Samsung DVD-HD870 and sound from the SKY HD box, an XBOX (first-gen softmodded with XBMC) and an old Acer laptop. The Quad 33 pre-amp is not connected, it's just there for presence and adding some inertia to the Samsung player...

That's a Monitor Audio Silver RX6 in walnut.

That's another RX6 in walnut but way too close to the wall for my taste. Also, you can just see the AKG K141 MKii cans trying to stay out of the picture.

And for the delight of the DIYers in the house, the Quad 303 being fitted with Net-Audio's PSU and Schottky Rectifier

Recapping: before and after...

And a final uncovered look of the 303

Hope you like the pics!
