I am SOOOOO out of date. I'd have put the used price at £30 tops....

It's a great product though, but try different shelf materials once installed :)

Hi, STEVE,

I've been looking for more Target wall shelves, and have found that there are quite a few models; some relatively recent.

As I bought my original TT1s for £25 each (from the factory) donkey's years ago, I imagine yours is a much later one.

Like Dave, I was amazed when offered a few at £50 to £90 before Christmas.

Unusual to get a box; I didn't even get one from the factory in Luton. I did get spikes, though.

I must admit that's about what I was expecting to spend, but only Target seem to make a dedicated turntable shelf these days (Pro-ject seem to have canned theirs) and they hardly ever come up on eBay.

I missed a couple because I was sure I'd bag it for £50 max and got outbid.

Custom Design make wall shelves, and very nice ones too.

Are Audio-Tech still around? I liked their simple wall shelf as it was much neater than any of the others I remembered. It's a long time since I sold them though, but I found they worked on non LP sources too.. If they are available, I daresay the prices are up to £200 now :(

I liked the original 'Sound Organisation' racks, once you replaced that flimsy shelf.the welded on flat spike brackets can be removed..The modern day Sound Org racks are horrible IMHO

Here's an old one.

Do you remember the matching record racks that looked like those things you grandad put his Newspapers & magazines in by the fireside!
