Soooooooooo, having wired a borrowed Amp up to my one 'good' Townshend Glastonbury (the ugly version!), I discovered it distorts the low frequencies at quite moderate levels - it sure never used to.
Popped out the Bass/Mid driver, and discovered the reason - the foam at the back is totally crumbled.
I've pulled it all out, and I'm gonna try to find some suitable foam to replace it, and 'hopefully' keep everything centralised and aligned when I cut/fit/glue it in place...http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170225/9bb53123c005041492a5b0a094504244.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170225/4d36a627a93e9fa9561947aa875b5fa3.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170225/197d27e48631d6ccce2aa5d66c587367.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170225/b46fbacc0487ca8bdeec224a3bd4a40d.jpg
