Any guys out there with experience of these speakers not a lot online gonna use them in a 2 channel setup with the tv

Can't believe no ones had a pair of these speakers at some point they are not some funky obscure Japanese Kawasaki speakers

They are not what one would call real tannoys but they can sound quite good with the right amplification. Quad older stuff seems to work well. about 87 db so need a bit of power

Cheers grant only gonna be using a cheapo jvc av amp with them we'll see how it goes don't really have the tv at party levels just looking for a better sound than the inbuilt speakers

Sounds fair if they are in nice condition Steven. Be fine for tv work. Can always add a cheap sub if you need more bass.

My father out law has a pair of these. They are great. For 40 bananas, you have a bargain. Granted, I have never had them blasting Buffalo at full tilt, but with his singer-songwriter blues, they sound pretty sweet.

I had some 609s for years and they were quality.
