Sad Announcement

It's with deep regret that I have to announce that Steve and Will Moores of Radford Revival suffered the loss of Steve's wife, Suzanne (Will's Mum) this morning.

Suzanne had been ill for some while. Steve has asked me if I would post an announcement asking if their privacy can be respected and that they need to be left alone to make their arrangements and to have a period to come to terms with their loss.

No doubt, they will let everyone know when they are able to get themselves re-focused on work, but for now, it would be appreciated if people could refrain from calling them or emailing them for anything Hifi/work related.

I will be travelling down to spend some time with them in the near future, and thought that it might be a nice gesture if the AoS community might like to sign a condolences card (perhaps we can circulate one and get everyone who would like to, to sign it) to be returned to me and I'll ensure that they get it. They could do with a little emotional support at the moment as Suzanne meant the world to them both and will be sadly missed,.

Meantime, if I could please ask if this message can be passed on so that Steve and Will can be left in peace for now, thank you.

Although the outcome was expected it's always a huge blow when it happens. Sincere condolences to them.

I'll buy a card tomorrow and send it to the first person I can find an address for! If they could send it on to someone else on AoS, and we aim to have it back to me in say 3 or 4 weeks latest, I'll bring it down to Steve.

The sympathy card is on it's way. Tom will be receiving it first and will send it on (with supplied envelope) to the next person. If Tom doesn't have a "next" person, perhaps we can use this thread for those wishing to sign it to list themselves and they can then supply their addresses privately. Not a bad shout John but the card is already in circulation and it is always better to have the personal touch. I think that matters.

It doesn't really matter that it will take a few weeks as the outcome is that Steve and Will have a personally signed condolences record from their friends and supporters here on AoS and this is more of a closer community than other forums. This just demonstrates another way for our community to come together at such times in support which I know will be comforting for Steve and Will, and mean a lot to them, trust me on this one.
