Has anyone heard Heed Amplifiers and have any thoughts on how they compare to other amplifiers in the up to £1500 price range.
I listened to the Heed Obelisk Si recently and after some time added the X2 power supply to it. It really sounded very nice indeed as an integrated and adding the X2 power supply produced even better results.
To my ears the midrange sounded epic, the treble was the best I have heard in my system with no harshness. As an integrated the 35W power provided a decent amount of bass and adding the X2 increased the weight of the bass in a good way.
There is now a Mk3 version of the Integrated which is 50W it would be interesting to hear this at some point.
