Denon Amplifier PMA-720AE auto shut off

Not sure why but my Denon amp has suddenly started to turn itself off when not in use (never used to do that). I have to reset the on/off button which flickers red for a second or so before turning green. Is there a safety mechanism or something built into this amp.

Few simple checks ray

Check all speaker cables amplifier end & speaker end to make sure their not short circuiting IE no lose strands of wire poking out and all is wound up smooth...also check no interconnects are touching metal to metal or using thick speaker cable or interconnects..

Could be a source issue but unlikely....

I believe it has an auto shut down to standby mode after 30 minutes of no signal.
It can be turned off in settings, but its been known to happen where on or off ive heard.. Worth checking the settings, but if its only happening when your not using it then its a bonus as itll save lecky and machine
