We stayed in the main Port area of Agios Nikolaos.

Massive Greek Liners, this was like a floating multi story car park, you gotta see it in real life to realise how bit it actually is.

Doesn't look as though that part of the island has been spoiled too much, since i was there.

What i like about that area is no sandy beaches being a port, nothing more silly than going on holiday to sun bathe 24/7! yeh very unspoiled.

Last day this pulled in, it's a Liner from Portugal.Looking at it is a old Liner, looks like it had a couple of refits, over the years.Beauty anyway.

I've been on an extended visit in Crete at the beginning of the summer and seen a lot of interesting places there. I had a fantastic time and it has remained my favorite part of Greece. Continental Greece, especially the northern part, has been quite a disappointment for me. Not so Crete. I liked the landscapes, the food, the people, just about everything there.

Great memories, thanks for bringing them back :)
