Thanks guys, it's taken me a while to sort things out. Now the only thing to do is start upgrading the phono amp, rack, room acoustics etc

Hi another Alex, very nice setup - room acoustics was going to be my question, as it looks like you've got hardly any soft furnishings - one of my buddies had similar problems a few years back in his bachelro pad and ended up having to buy some bean bags and cushions to try and calm down the reflections/echoes - he even ended up carpet tiling the rear wall (seriously, he made a kind of collage in blue yellow and orange, kind of cool!)

Anyway, welcome aboard.

Wonderful - The MF gear is so bling in the best sense of the word! 'speakers are by B&W?

Thanks guys, with regards to soft furnishings we do have a large sofa in there as well as the Barcelona. Next on my list is a nice rug so soak up the sound reflections from the floor, after that I will experiment with acousitc panels maybe (diy of course). Good thing about the house is that it is well built, thick walls, concrete floors (no floor boards), solid internal walls as well.

Very nice stuff, Alex. Got one MF cdp myself, so I like the brand. Lovely looking gear! Yours, I mean, mine's an A5, looks like a Secret Service attache case
