Well. I found an old photo from the 70s of my room as a teen! :scratch:
Spot the wooden computer and non-graphic equaliser! :doh:
The wooden computer was in fact a Nascom 1, z80 based computer that was all the rage (I think they sold 10s of them!) at the time. The tape deck at the side was for storing and loading the 948 bytes of memory! :lol: Mindyou, after you'd spent 2 hours typing in hex codes for a program you were glad of _any_ way to save it for when you typed GC80 and the screen filled with rubbish and you realised you had one code wrong somewhere. Ah, those were the days. :smoking:
The equaliser was the Maplin one, only I couldn't be arsed to try to fit all those linear pots (plus they were expensive) so I went for rotary ones which made it very hard to tell what was set but oh well. :confused:
