Van Der Graff Generator - MINT & UNOPENED.

Never even been played. Bought by mistake not realising I already had this on vinyl.

As you can see it's still shrink wrapped.

What you recon to it then Steve? It was technically their first LP but not the first in the UK, it was only marked up as a VDGG LP allegedly due to a contractual issue.. The UK debut 'The Least We Can Do Is Wave' was a totally different beast.. I still have a 1st issue of this on Fontana, sounds good..

btw: The Remastered CD of 'H To He, Who Am The Only One' Has a 'Pawn Hearts' 15 min session of ''Squid 1" / "Squid 2" / "Octopus", it sounds fantastic bringing those tracks from 'Aerosol' in to a whole serious prog domain.

Well I am a total VdG fan boy and have been for best part of 40 years - my wife ( we met at age 16) is the only other person I know who shares this passion ( TBH she introduced me to Mr Hammill and the band) - have seen them numerous times over the years - most recently at Northern School of Music. While I don't own all the albums I've got about a dozen of PH solo and VdG. Back to your question - stunning "debut" album - Afterwards is just sublime. The least we can do and H to He are clearly classics but TBH I think Godbluff is my favourite - as s collection The Box takes some beating - PH has been a major influence for so many years

The only VDGG Im short of on Vinyl is 'Still Life' for some odd reason there is always a tag attached to it!
