Farlowe era Exposure CD players

Does anyone have experience of the Farlowe era Exposure CD players? Are they good/bad or indifferent? How would they compare to an Avondale AAA5 CD player?

I've had one I bought new in 1998 and am still using (AFAIK there was only one Farlowe-era CD player). I think it's great, but have never compared it to an Avondale CD player. It certainly beat the equivalent Naim model against which I auditioned it against. Not wishing to tempt fate, but it has also been extremely reliable.
