I bought these unusual speakers off the Bay a few years ago out of curiosity as much as anything else.
Nameplate on the back says "Sand Dune IV"
20Hz-20Khz + or_ 2Db
Power handling 200W
Nom impedeance 4Ohm
Hand made in England
They have been well made and are in a bird's eye maple veneer finish with Audax drivers:
240mm Woofer HT240GO (apparently a "high performance" unit)
170mm Mid/Woofer AP170G2
130mm Mid AP130G2
25mm Tweeter TWO25M1
a neat looking but unknown crossover inside
There is a switch which tirns on or off the 130mm driver.
The sound is pretty good although to be frank I haven't really listened to them much as I have many other speakers to play around with - I was struck by the unusual shape and the bird's eye maple finish and they were selling locally on the Bay so I went for them.
Any information on them would be useful. I am clearing space and will sell them on but would like to know more about them before I sell.
Link to pics below - I hope!
