Being that this forum seems to be mostly people from the UK, I just wanted to say that I had a fantastic time in your country last week.

It was my first visit and the weather, people (and pubs) were outstanding. Stonehenge was pretty cool too!

Spent some time at Rega, Chord and Quadraspire. All great guys and big music lovers.

Looking forward to returning next month! (going to Meridian and Harbeth) This time renting a car and ready to take on those roundabouts!

Glad you enjoyed it here Jeff! Next time make sure you check out Avebury. It makes Stonehenge look positively tiny, though it's an older monument (standing stones, not triptychs) ... and Silbury Hill a mile out of Avebury village which is a manmade hill with some very interesting topography to the surrounding landscape...

And if you're worried about roundabouts, avoid Swindon's 'Magic Roundabout'. This is not photoshopped :)

Saw Sir Elton at your rugby field last weekend. Awesome show!

Dave:

Rega kept us on a pretty tight schedule...
Will you be in your shop on Sat, July 18? or Sun the 19th?
I fly into Heathrow from Switzerland Sat afternoon at 1pm.
Hopefully I can have a car and be on my way by 2 or 3. If you
can suggest a place to stay near your place on Sat evening, I'd
love to stop by and buy you a beer!

Quadraspire...

Did they show you their superb acrylic stand that I use, although mine is an AudioWorks modified version?

Hi Jeff

You can stay in our guest room with en-suite, river views and Wi Fi, or we can book you into a 4 star riverside hotel? Either would be fine by us. We do have 6 Main Coons though www.DartmouthPussyCat.com !! Post code is TQ6 9HN use Google maps for directions. You could also meet Guy from www.puresound.info as he is close too.
