Hi Guys,

As you all know by know I'm not the most technically minded when it comes to hi-fi  so just looking to tap some wise heads regarding a problem with some Heybrook Sextet speakers I bought S/H the other day.

When alternating the balance between the two speakers I noticed one of them was appreciably muffled - no treble - in comparison to the other. They came bi-wired (no metal plate / jumpers between the binding posts) with appropriate speaker cable included. I tried different positions with the banana plugs, even swapping them over between speakers, but still the same outcome.

Any thoughts? Also is there some way of mocking up a DIY jumper to connect the binding posts again? I want to try the speakers again with my non-bi-wired cable in case there's something wrong with the bi-cable.

Cheers :)

You can use speaker cable as jumpers.
