2013.There it was,gone!

As far as hifi goes 2013 has been a great year for me. Had some difficult decisions to make but it's been good fun. I have really enjoyed being back on AOS and hopefully made a few more friends here. Nebo 1,2 and 3 have been and absolute dream and brought some great folks together.
What about 2014? Well for me it's back to basics and ditching some of my high end gear. As far as my system goes i will be having fun with it and not spending a kings ransome on it as i have done in the past. I also intend to stage Nebo4 so if anyone out there is interested get in touch. I have some ideas for the next one that will make it even more special.

I'd be interested to know what back to basics means for you Steve.
I'm certainly coming from the same place though and 2014 will see me making some changes on the home front and building a space dedicated to listening to and creating music before spending any dough on the kit.

May the NEBO continue to go from strength to strength in 2014, in the absence of a full AoS show I think you've created something special and valued and I'd encourage as many other members as possible to get behind this.

All the best for the new year and may karma smile upon you in 2014.

Hi Steve glad to hear there's another NEBO in the pipeline,I'll be there.Hi-fi wise , '13 was "out with the new and in with the old" as I had to hook up my old radford to drive my latest [old] speakers.14 will be the same as other years see what comes along as a used bargain 'cos it's cheaper than new!. Steve.......those amps are not being used at the moment,you can borrow them if you like,see what you think of a bit of 50's technology,see how far we've progressed[or not] Bit of a thankyou for the unseen work that must go into arranging the NEBO's [Neil's getting nowt 'cos he said my amp was "50 quids worth of old tat!]
