anyone had any experience with any of these products

http://www.hotaudio.com/zen-cart/index.php?main_page=products_all&disp_order=1&page=2

since the 7520 has made its way into the main system i have been using a soundblaster external soundcard. this thing is great for recording in to the computer but for some reason sounds completely dead and lifeless playing music. its driving me mad to the point of not listening to music in preferance to listening through the soundblaster which frankly is a bit crap!

im hoping to get another 7520 later this year but until then i thought one of these might do the job better than the sh1tblaster

any thoughts anyone?

PLEASE buy one and let us know ;) Don't know how much it would cost import one into the UK.

DAC circuits aren't expensive to buy these days and I'm sure the person selling this is making a little bit on each one, putting it in a simple box and keeping it basic. Good on him...

I wonder if the volume control works on the phono outputs? I could see myself getting the AVI bolt-on amps for the N5's and connecting the PC to this box via a USB2 output (I have firewire too, so there may be other DACs at similar price that may do..

Good luck, I hope it's brilliant value!
