Is AOS being spied upon?
I just looked at our 'Who's Online' spot and see that "Bing Bot" and "Google Bot" are visiting.
Presumably, this is Microsoft's 'Bing' and 'Google' robotically searching for anything that may strike a chord within their search engines.
Not nice though, a bit like the 'all seeing' computer world of 'The Matrix'. What will we be facing in years to come? Every move we make intrusively inspected?

It's what give us our great search ratings - type in something totally unique, then Google it - see how long it takes to show on a search.
The word Zarzleberry, for example.

It's an open forum
99% it's only us lot, but anyone can search it so not a good idea to go into too much personal detail - like we all do :)

Exactly! You can't scratch your arse without it being noted somewhere these days. :eyebrows:

Well, I'd say that about 95% of AoS members joined after a search on Google.
It's kind of what it's supposed to do!
Just don't scratch yer arse in public!

I know Chris. I just started the thread as a cynical dig at the ever more pervasive way our lives are inspected these days.
Goggle - way, way more invasive than the NSA - who are probably jealous. Hence the tap.

As long as it's your own why worry, I like to scratch mine when it needs a scratch, wherever I am.
S'ok, only worry if you can't resist the urge to sniff your finger afterwards! :D

Lol! I won't mention then about getting bits of 'beef OXO cube' stuck underneath your fingernails afterwards!!
Marco.
Good to see AoS maintaining its high standard of taste and decency!
Just savour the 'aromatic tang' instead! :D
Marco.
Wrong oh so wrong but funny as… very good Marco :)

Where'er you be , let yer wind go free. A motto for all, up yours Google.
And, as another old saying goes: 'lang may yer skidmarks reek'! :eyebrows:
