Hallo friends,

I am new to this forum & liked the support from you within first 2 days.
I need your help to choose correct DAC & proper Stereo amp for Tannoy F1 customs.

I came to know abt Beresford 7510 DAC.Now 7520 has come.
Now I need your help & your reviews to choose correct one.
Is 7520 really better than 7510 in terms of SQ?
I will use DVDP or WD MP as a source.
I need balanced sound with proper Bass.

1.Which will sound better for stereo playback?

2.Secondly which stereo amp will do justice to Beresford & Tannoy f1 combo?
(NAD, Rotel ,Ca or any)

Your kind response is awaited,
Thanks.

Hi Strat,
The 7520 is better than the 7510 in terms of sound quality but I suspect with your current equipment you may struggle to tell the difference. Given that the cost difference is not huge you may want to get the better model as it has a number of advantages namely a USB connection and upgradable op-amps. In addition it has a much superior headphone amp.
AV amps are inferior to hi-fi amps at the same price so any of the ones you suggest will be an improvement. Audition first if you can.

Hi Strat,

Note Neil's earlier request:

On AOS we like to know a little bit about who we're interacting with, as it makes for a friendlier atmosphere - and you're also more likely to get replies that way, so........ ? ;)

Cheers! :)

Marco.

Hi Covenant- USB is welcomed ,but limited to 44.1,48 sample rate with 16bit.
Will it be possible to improve later?

i dont know about the rotel but the nad is a good amp, its very good value for money in my books and i would think it would sound pretty good with the tanoys
