This is my first post on these forums.

I'm using a Beresford 7510 Mk6. I'm thinking of changing my pre amp for a TVC type. Could somebody (or Stan himself) tell what the output impedance is for my DAC? Is the 7520 the same (thinking of upgrades here)?

Thanks.

I only have a 7520. I run this into an S&B TX102 TVC then 5m of interconnect after the TVC. The 7520 fed by PC-Audio sounds spectacular and clearly has plenty of drive for the TVC.

Clive, have you tried running the 7520 direct into your power amp using the Beresford's volume control? If so, any thoughts about what extra the TVC brings to the party? (apart from switching for analog sources of course!).

Hi Jerry, I've not tried that yet. I need 2 sets of connections out of the back of the 7520 as I have active bass. Once I have some suitable 1 to 2 phono leads I'll try it.

That's good to know, thanks. I should be using short interconnect DAC --> TVC, then a long balanced out TVC --> power amp. Like you, I'll be using PC as main source (when Media Monkey starts behaving again).
