RICH MULLINS 1955 to 1997

I was inspired to put this together, as the death of John Martyn had upset so many and Rich Mullins death back in 1997 (is it really that long) had upset me a lot, as it still does. When true talent dies in this sadly superficial world, its a tragedy for all of us. So this is late, very late, but of interest I hope to all who love music whatever the genre.

Firstly this is about the music of a very talented musician who's music means a great deal to me. If you don't share my passion for Rich I hope you may learn too. When I heard of Rich Mullin's death ( a number of years ago) it came as a massive blow to me and that he died in a car crash just made it worse. I was angry and felt cheated. I saw him live once and met him after the show..he was a lovely man. And meeting a hero left me with little to say except to thank him for playing a gig in Northern Ireland. Rich was a Christian musician but in my opinion his music is about so much more, but it is Christian so if that offends you don't listen. This tribute is not about preaching (NO RELIGION DEBATES) but about the music only. I think he is one of the most talented musician/singer/song writers in any genre and I hope that you may agree.

If Christian music offends don't watch, but if you have an open mind and like great music then listen and enjoy.

I've just had a quick listen, and although not a fan of religious songs (of any faith), I have to agree that Rich Mullins was an extremely talented singer / songwriter. Well worth hearing!:)
