I was given a Bal-Ami junior (1957) juke box a while back as a bonus for a job i had done. The lady who gave me the juke box said her father was in the jukebox business, and that the junior jukebox was hers since a child. The juke box has'nt worked for a while, and she said it did'nt brake down, just stopped working. Stored in a dry stable for a year or so,now been stored in my garage (dry),for a year. I am thinking about restoring it. When i switched on, all lights worked etc,and the whole thing looks in good order. The coin dropper has been bypassed .paint could do with a touch up. The old Beam Echo amp is missing a couple of valves ,not knowing anything about these amps i was wondering if anyone on here does? I will research online, and there is a juke box restor/fix guy in Bridgwater few miles from me,but on his webb site he charges £225.00 start price for amp repairs ....any info on the amp would be much appreciated. Thanks

Howdy David,

Restoring this wonderful 'box is the righteous thing to do. BAL-Ami were British made jukeboxes and the Junior is a cool smaller model, designed for the local coffee bar.

Have you tried the BJO?
