Hi Guys

For those that can't understand the lure of valves/tubes (other than the fantastic sound). The magical sight of these romantic, Glass Bottles glowing away is for many what makes it so magical. Back in the 80's a reviewer coined the phrase City Of Lights to describe an all Audio Innovations set up (1000 Series pre-Amplifier and 2nd Audio Power Amps).

Dalek Productions proudly presents the CITY OF LIGHTS on SKARO.

Daleks recommend valves, we like things which glow in the dark, burning cities, planets but above all we love the glow of glass.

F*cking awesome!!!

:)

Solid-state in comparison is just, erm, so 'dull'... :eyebrows:

Hi Marco

Glad you like the photos. :gig:

Yes Solid state is generally(there are some exceptions) boring (both in looks and sound IMHO).;)

Yes, lovely pic's.

I must try some like that myself now that I've found the macro feature on my camera.

Err, except I can't at the moment, my amp is lying upside down with it's knickers off and it's giblets exposed! :)

What camera and settings did you use for those shots?

There we go with the cock rings again! You must have one for every day of the week:lol:
That seems like a very expensive way to heat them before you put them on, cant you just leave them on the radiator for a while.

Hi guys

Ha, Ha. No need for those ;) Anyway yes I favor the Tube Rings as I posted once before, I can hear a slight improvement with them so I use them. They aren't that dear and the difference is worth it IMHO.

Hi Filterlab

The Camera is a Panasonic DMC-FX01, the setting used was Scene Mode Starry Night. Set camera on a tri-pod or in my case a pile of hard back books. Set shot up and take the photo. It sucks in all the light and takes about 30 secs to do this. Voila what you see.

That's not bad at all for a preset mode Neil, it's something that I'd like to shoot given a chance. Great effect anyway, certainly invoked some spirited comments on here.
