Celestion Ditton 15 question

I'm in need of a little knowledge & I'm sure someone, or possibly a few members on here can help me out :)

What I need to know is the diameter of a ditton 15 ABR. Now I know it's 8", but I need to work out the diaphram area ;) To do that I need the measurement from half way accross the roll surround on one side of the ABR to the same point on the roll on the other side of the of the ABR.

Now I'd also like to know the diaphram excursion. If someone would be so kind as to measure how far the ABR can move either backwards or forwards or both I'd be very greatful indeed :)

If you are going to try that with the ABR still in the speaker please be careful of the bass/mid driver!
