OMG a JBL Paragon and the Marantz gear to drive it, heard that system in the 70s, Feckin' Awesome..... Only ever heard one in a domestic situation, in a ranch house in Colarado. However, of all places Laskys in Tottenham Court Road in London had one in their upstairs showroom. Used to go in there just to hear it:):):):)

The JBL Everest DD66000s are my favourite modern speakers, and what I'd use if I had a bigger room - awesome things! :eek:

Loved the dudes sitting back and pouring some Highland Park before spinning the tunes - quality... :respect:

When I was running Village Way Recorders we had a choice of JBL4335s or 15 inch HPDs in Lancaster cabs. The JBLs were awesome a great sound and a solid bass, the Tannoys were more accurate. Difficult choice the JBLs were lovely.

If *that* dude raises his eyebrows when the JBLs start playing then you know they are bloody good!

The choice of Miles Davis's "Kind of Blue", excellent choice & awesome production on that album.
