Hi

bought these for £2 at a boot sale on a punt thinking that they would be crap but im amazed by there quality through my tv and cheapo vinyl system. using a denon amp. does the job just fine im a happy chapie and saves on space.

Take a photo Dan. I can't remember what they look like.

I remember them sounding very good with a 3020i amp - crisp in the top and rich mid and bass. They must be 20 years old at least as that was 1989...

Hi

i thought that they would be earlier than 1989 but there you go.

I heard them in 1989 but they had been out for a couple of years at least prior to that.

Nice speakers! My brother-in-law still has a pair that he bought new in the mid 1980s as part of a NAD VP system (5120 turntable, 3020e amp, 8225 speakers, a length of Monster cable and a NAD test LP for £299!) - they still sound great.

The only other thing I can add is that, if my memory serves me correctly, they were actually made by KEF.
