Bi-wiring question

Hi guys, just a quick one bi-wiring, do you need an amp that's specified as being able to do it or can you do it from any amp?

My brother has a pair of Paradigm monitor 7's and wants to bi-wire them, he's got this AV-receiver: http://www.sony.co.uk/product/hcs-home-cinema-receiver/str-da2400es

Obvious question, can he do it?

Any amp, you just need to connect two pairs of speaker cables to the same terminals or connect the second set to "B" Speakers & select "A + B".

Don't forget to remove the jumper on the speakers :eyebrows:

Reid, you know what I'm going to ask next; what's a jumper?

Its normally a small plate joining the two sets of speaker terminals on the speaker.
