Autumnal Beach

[Beechwoods]

These pictures were taken on my iPhone on a day-trip to Sand Bay just down the coast from Bristol.

I used Instagram to tweak the colours and bring out that rather severe out-of-season British seaside atmosphere. I quite like these, particularly given the technology I had on me at the time.

I agree, Mark. Thank you. It was an amazing vista, and one that's a challenge to capture on 'film'. Only 5 minutes later I was dragging #2 from the mud; we almost lost her shoes. An interesting beach for sure.

In my original, I liked the symmetry between the sky and the bucket. My pic was completely uncropped. I think that perfection would maybe lie somewhere between your crop and my original!
